Russian school students are the world champions in geography!
Russian team won the 10th World championship in geography, which ended 27th of July in San-Francisco, USA.

Teams of 17 countries participated in the championship, which was held by National geographic society (USA). Each team included 3 members. At the end Russians had to struggle against the national teams of Canada and Taiwan.
Russia collected 27 points, while Canada — 22, and Taiwan — 15. Victory of Russia is also so important, because it is the first time in the history of World championship from 1993 (the championships are held once in 2 years) that Russians won.
The results of Russian contest in geography among school students showed who will be included in Russian national team at the World championship in USA.
