NAVITEL® releases Q3 2014 maps of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan
Q3 2014 maps of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan are now available for the users of Navitel Navigator.
Russia
The map of Russia includes 155 212 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 10 960 of them.
The address database contains 8 427 476 unique addresses. The POI database has been updated and extended as well, including now the total of 1 074 862 POI. Length of the road graph is 3 870 215 km.
Current changes of the road network as per November 1, 2014 have been added to the map, as well as new interchanges and overpasses.
Detailed maps of 249 municipalities have been added, 77 of them have the “city” status:

Chuvashia Republic: Alatyr;
Kirov Region: Kirovo-Chepetsk;
Nizhny Novgorod Region: Lukoyanov, Lyskovo, Navashino, Pervomaysk, Perevoz, Semenov;

Ukraine
The map of Ukraine includes 29 976 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 1 590 of them, 2 136 247 addresses being available for the address search. The POI database has been updated and extended including now the total of 114 086 POI. Length of the road graph is 1 124 476 km.
Detailed maps of the following cities and towns have been added:
Mykolaiv Region: Yuzhnoukrainsk;
Zhytomyr Region: Radomishl;
Kharkiv Region: Solonitsevka;
Lvov Region: Velikie Mosty.
Address database in Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhzhya ,Ivano-Frankivsk , Chernihiv, Luhansk, Kirovograd, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Odesa, Poltava and Chernivtski Regions have been updated.
Map road network in Kiev, Zhytomyr, Mariupol, Sudak, Simferopol and in the Lviv Region (Samborski, Gorodokski, Pustomytovsky, Sambir and Peremyshlyany districts) have been updated.
The information on lane assistance in Odessa has been added on the map.
Occasional bugs of route planning in Rivne and Kirovograd Regions have been removed.
Address data inconsistencies for Ukraine road network were fixed, taking into account NAVITEL® users’ messages from official forum and through bug-tracker on the official website.
Belarus
The map of Belarus includes 22 879 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 737 of them, 602 788 addresses being available for the address search. The map contains 61 434 POI. Length of the road graph is 284 321 km.
Kazakhstan
The map of Kazakhstan includes 9 760 municipalities, allowing address search and providing road network for 86 of them, 268 583 addresses being available for the address search. The map contains 16 808 POI. Length of the road graph is 1 258 510 km.
The information on the numbers of storeys was added on the maps of Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Kostanay, Balkhash, Zhezkagan, Uralsk.
The road network graph has been substantially revised; databases of addresses and POIs have been specified; and other changes were made on the maps of the following cities: Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk.
The map of each country includes residential and industrial objects and sites of cities, towns and settlements allowing address search, highly detailed road network, including streets and roads and taking into account road directions, as well as interchanges, roundabouts and other important information.
