NAVITEL® releases Q3 maps of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine
Q3 2015 maps of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Ukraine are now available for the users of Navitel Navigator.
Belarus
The map of Belarus contains 23 702 settlements, 737 of which are provided with the street network and support the address search. The address database contains 602 788 unique addresses, whereas the map includes the total of 62 457 POI. Length of the road graph is 284 321 km.
Opened on 7th of October 2015 and connecting the routes M3 and P28 at a distance of 20km from the Minsk Ring Road, MKAD-2, the new district of Minsk Ring Road, has been added to the map.
Kazakhstan
The map of Kazakhstan contains 9 760 settlements, 98 of which are provided with the street network and support address search. The address database contains 295 558 unique addresses. The map includes 20 929 POI. Length of the road graph is 1 260 331 km.
The cities of Aksu, Makinsk, and Stepnogorsk have been added to the map with the address search down to the level of buildings, and the cities of Ereymentau and Zerendi have been added to the map with the address search down to the level of streets.
Russia
The map of Russia includes 159 908 settlements, 11 932 of which are provided with street network and support address search. The address database contains 8 923 811 unique addresses. The POI database has been updated and extended as well, and as a result, includes now the total of 1 233 346 POIs. Length of the road graph is 3 870 215 km.
Changes of the street network as per present day have been added to the map, including those requested through email and by the forum users. The map of Moscow has been updated so as to include the traffic order changes applied on 22 roads within the Third Ring Road. From now onward, the one-way traffic is in use on these roads for the purpose of increasing their road capacity.
New cities have been added with the address search down to the level of buildings
New 3D models of buildings of public and historically-cultural significance have been added to the map of Russia:
Belgorod: the office building of the Federal State Statistics Service, The Agricultural Sector Department of the Belgorod Region, The Mikhail Shchepkin Drama Theatre, The “Battle of Kursk. Belgorod Direction” composite picture museum, the “Belgorod” hotel.
Saint Petersburg: Anichkov Palace, Great Gostiny Dvor, Beloselsky-Belozersky Palace, Singer House, Mariinsky Theatre, Rostral Columns, Smolny Cathedral, Transfiguration Cathedral, Moika Palace, and 17 more 3D objects.
Ukraine
The map of Ukraine includes 30 008 settlements, 1 665 of which are provided with the street network and support address search. The address database contains 2 218 104 unique addresses. The POI database has been updated and extended, and as a result, includes now the total of 119 073 POIs. Length of the road graph is 1 127 161 km.
New cities have been added with the address search down to the level of buildings
The maps of all countries include the address search in residential and industrial areas of settlements coupled with the highly detailed road network with streets, roads, and with due account to road directions, interchanges, roundabouts, and other important road information.
